Project Overview
A1 Duran Roofing completed the reroofing of multiple buildings and walkways at Ponce de Leon Middle School, installing a high-performance SBS modified bitumen roofing system designed to improve durability, drainage, and long-term weather protection. The project included complete roof removal, tapered insulation, new roof drains, expansion joints, flashings, scuppers, and custom sheet metal components.
Construction began on April 26, 2023, and was successfully completed on February 8, 2024. Our team carefully coordinated all phases of construction within the occupied campus while maintaining quality workmanship, safety standards, and compliance with project specifications.
The scope also included lightweight concrete deck preparation, pre-engineered crickets, pipe and conduit flashings, equipment support modifications, gutters, downspouts, edge metal, aluminum termination bars, and complete waterproofing details to ensure a durable and watertight roofing system throughout the campus.
